Good maintenance depends on the people doing it. We work with your crew, and with you as the owner, to build technical confidence: how the systems work, how to look after them, and how to find the cause when something goes wrong. It is practical, specific to your vessel and delivered alongside the maintenance plan.
Practical training for captains, engineers and deck crew on the systems they look after.
For owners who want to understand their yacht better and ask the right questions of the captain, the yard and the suppliers.
Guides for the faults that come up most, written around the systems on your vessel: what to check first, what the symptoms usually point to, and when to call for help. They sit in the platform next to the equipment they relate to.
The CBM platform includes a training area for troubleshooting training and best-practice material, linked to the vessel’s own equipment and maintenance plan. It is being rolled out to clients.
We start with the vessel and the people on board, agree what is worth learning first, and build the training around the real systems and the real jobs on the schedule. It can be given remotely by video, on board when we are with the vessel, or through the platform at the crew’s own pace.

Captains, engineers, crew and owners. We pitch it at the level of the person and the vessel, whether that is a first-year deckhand learning the engine room or an owner who wants to understand the yacht.
Yes. It is built around your systems, your maintenance plan and the faults your vessel actually has, not a generic course.
Tell us who is on board and what you would like to be more confident with. We will suggest where to start.
